Alberto born in Cesena in 1928, but in 1946 moves to Turin and then Rome, where he exhibited for the first time, at the Pincio Gallery in Rome with Corrado Cagli and Marcello Muccini, and again after two years. His designs highlights interest in the social news with particular reference to a persistent melancholy.
In the early 60’, the artist moves between Rome, Milan and Turin to promote meetings between collectors to investigating contemporary art. In the meantime he set up exhibitions in several Italian cities. In 1985 the series called “La Sera” represents a reflection of the artist around his role and the value of existence in the context of the contemporary world. In the following years, there are many exhibitions of the artist not only on Italian territory but also abroad, capital cities like in Prague, Budapest, San Poul of Brazil. Alberto Sughi died in Bologna on March 31st 2012.
